The World Bank is a bank that funds developing countries to reduce development disparities between countries established after the Second World War. World Bank Loan Types
The functions of the World Bank are not as like as local banks. Creative Development Ideas are another provider, like the Small Grants Program, that promotes the activities of non-governmental organizations. The project ideas accepted by this program are actualized by establishing another development organization partnership. It is a process that progresses openly and transparently in terms of competing of innovative ideas. The main goals of the program are fighting against poverty and development.
Regional Environment Center (Rec)
Regional Environmental Center supports are financial backing programs for the purpose of environmental protection and sustainable development. Studies carried out together with local administrations, non-governmental organizations and environmental stakeholders are supported. Joint projects, ideas, and activities of different stakeholders in Turkey are supported by financing them. It also points to expedite the process of Turkey’s participation in the EU. Application criteria may differ according to each call period.
Global Fund for Women
It is a type of fund that supports women’s organizations working on women’s rights. Institutions apart from the United States are financed. Projects that create activities on women’s equality and human rights are allowed to receive funds.
